Advice & Guidance

The right toothbrush for your child

In collaboration with dentists, TANDEX has developed a series of toothbrushes for adults and children called "CLASSIC" . These toothbrushes comes in 3 different designs for specific ages from 0 to 12 years old: Baby 0 - 3 years old, Kids 4 - 8 years old and Junior 9 - 12 years old.

The shape of the toothbrush means that the pressure applied will be placed in the right place on the teeth - without flex and other disturbing elements. This always ensures a uniform pressure on the tooth surface and gums. The brush head itself has been adjusted in size to fit the smaller mouth of children.

The bristles themselves are placed on a "line" of each other. In practice, this means that the enamel is best protected against wear by the fact that it is only the "rotation" itself that creates the increased friction against the enamel.

How to brush your teeth properly

Keep your toothbrush perpendicular to the boundary between tooth and gums. Brush with small, circular rubbing movements, approx. 6-10 times on each tooth before continuing with the next tooth. Both the front and back of the teeth should be brushed this way before you finish cleaning the chewing surfaces. Remember to get all the way to the back teeth. Here it is an advantage that the brush head is not too big so you can reach all parts of the mouth properly.

Avoid tooth damage when brushing teeth! Are you one of those people who pushes hard when you brush your teeth? Then you can risk damaging your teeth by making abrasive marks. Put your effort into brushing your teeth properly instead. Some toothbrushes are simply too hard, so they do more harm than good. TANDEX' toothbrushes are made of specially adapted nylon, which even in the toughest version ensures an effective and gentle cleaning of the teeth without damage.

You need to brush your teeth every day

Toothbrushing is important for both your health and how long your teeth will last. Morning toothbrushing removes bacteria from the night and breakfast so you can go out into the world with clean teeth and fresh breath. When you brush your teeth in the evening, you can lie down to sleep with a clear conscience that all traces of the day's food and drinks have been removed from your teeth.

In addition to the clean and fresh feeling, you also extend the life of your teeth by taking good care of them and brushing them twice a day for at least two minutes. An investment that pays off in the long run.
